New market participants on IBEX in October and November

A total of nine companies registered for participation and expanded their presence on the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX)  in October and November this year.

Among these are the Italian Enel Global Trading SpA and the Danish MFT ENERGY A/S.

Enel Global Trading SpA is going to trade on all three market segments operated by IBEX: Day-ahead, Intraday and Centralized Market for Bilateral Contracts. The company is a subsidiary of Enel Group, which operates on the wholesale electricity markets worldwide.

MFT ENERGY A/S, which registered on the Day-ahead and Intraday market segments is a company focused on short-term electricity trading in Europe, with plans to expand to new markets.

Among the new participants on IBEX is the producer of non-ferrous and precious metals KCM AD Plovdiv, which is one of the largest energy consumers in the country. Some of the newly registered companies are Enekod Green EAD, Hydro Power Utilities EOOD, Kummer OOD and Terna Energy Trading Limited EOOD.

IBEX long-time participants Elpetra Energy EAD and Elpetra Energy Ltd expanded their presence on the Centralized Market for Bilateral Contracts and Intraday segments.
