All NEMOs publish CACM Annual Report 2023 on intraday and day-ahead coupling

The CACM Annual Report, prepared by the Nominated Electricity Market Operators (NEMOs) in cooperation with Transmission System Operators (TSOs), monitors the implementation of the Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management Regulation (CACM Regulation) and the associated Algorithm methodology.

The CACM Annual Report 2023 has been published on the All NEMO Committee website, today, Monday, 1 July.

The report provides a comprehensive overview of the Single Day-Ahead Coupling (SDAC) and Single Intraday Coupling (SIDC) operations in 2023 and gives a broad outline of the current and future performance of market coupling algorithms and R&D activities undertaken.

The CACM Annual Report 2023 summarises the work achieved by NEMOs and TSOs in the day- ahead and intraday coupling projects to ensure successful operation of market coupling solutions. A regular and transparent assessment of their operations and performance is key to supporting the ultimate goal of all projects – an effective integrated EU energy market.

The All NEMO Committee is organizing a physical event, the second NEMO Committee Annual Conference, which can also be joined online, on the CACM Annual Report 2023, to be held on 19 September 2024 in Athens. The agenda will be published soon.
