IBEX has been successfully certified as RRM (REMIT reporting mechanism) by the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) and has launched a completely new service for reporting transactions concluded outside an organized market place.
As of 1st January 2025, Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange, in its capacity of RRM, launches a service which will allow market participants to report transactions with energy and natural gas concluded outside an organized market place thus complying with the requirements of Regulation 1227/2011 of the European Parliament and the Council (REMIT- Regulation on Wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency).
The new service will be available for all market participants and for those registered on Bilateral Contracts market segment, reporting will be automatic.
Each client of the service will have access to a specialized interface with an increased level of security for access whereby they will have access to their reports and receipts from ACER and the status of the reports will be available in real time. The interface has been developed entirely by IBEX and meets all regulatory requirements of ACER.
The new service will allow IBEX to optimize its operations thus decreasing the costs for this type of reporting.
